1904: The cabin was built, 3 miles northeast of Berner, for Tober (Claven) Halvorson. Berner was just north of Gonvick.
1907: Tober's son, Albert Halvorson, inherits this cabin when his mother passes away.
1907-1925: Cabin stands empty.
1925- Albert and his wife, Manda Jacobson, move in. Improvements they added were a basement and a lean-to. In December of this year Alvina Halvorson was born.
1948: Albert and Manda move out. Alvina and her husband, Lawrence Spencer, move in. An improvement they made was adding electricity.
1953: Sherry Spencer, daughter of Alvina and Lawrence is born.
1954: Spencer's Move Out
1984: The cabin was donated to the History Center.
