Are you interesting in volunteering at the Clearwater County History Center? Reach out to us by calling, email, or in person. From there we can determine what work you would like to do and when you will come in. Whether the time volunteered is only for museum events or if it will be a weekly thing. All volunteers are appreciated because there is always work to be done.
Do you have a specific interest? Want something to do for a few hours a day? Volunteer with us and we will use your interests and skill to find the correct work for you! These jobs include but are not limited to the following:
Scanning Photographs and Negatives
Editing our Photography records
Sewing small tags onto Historic Garments
Lawn Maintenance
Cleaning
Historic Building Maintenance
Helping out at the various Events
CCHS would like to create committees to help with several projects. We'd love to have you join us!
Fundraising, Special Events, and America 250 are three committees we'd like to create.
The Fundraising committee members would brain storm ideas on how to raise funds in new and creative ways.
The Special Events committee would help build new programs and events to offer, plus make suggestions to enhance current events and programs
The America 250 committee would help us develop events to celebrate America's 250th Anniversary this year.
Contact the History Center at 218-785-2000 for details.
